The Multi-Cultural Club hosted the annual Diversity Dinner on Tuesday evening, February 18.  Numerous students, parents, and faculty engaged in table conversations designed to “break the ice,” while enjoying a pot-luck dinner of various ethnic delicacies.

After dinner, a panel consisting of senior Kendrick Cooper, juniors Kenenna Odeluga and Dylan Guijosa, theology teacher Dan Burke and Principal Scott Tabernacki fielded a series of questions about their experiences studying and teaching in a diverse school like Mount Carmel.  Numerous audience members contributed questions and comments during the discussion period.

During the break for dessert, members of the Carmelite Board of Members and Mount Carmel Board of Directors, who were on campus conducting the tri-annual school evaluation, stopped by the dinner.  Carmelite Provincial Fr. William Harry and Board Chairman Don Barry both congratulated participants on the successful and important evening.
