Light the Night is an organization that raises funds in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). The LLS exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. As you may know, our beloved colleague and brother, Mr. Kevin Hansen, died from leukemia in April of 2015. One of Mount Carmel’s main goals is building a brotherhood which lasts forever. In Mr. Hansen’s memory, the Caravan for the third straight year is forming a team for the LLS Light the Night Walk on October 21st. Last year the Mount Carmel community raised $2,050 for the cure and are looking to raise even more this year. We urge every member of the Mount Carmel community, to join our team (Caravan for Kevin).
