Last Saturday evening, the Class of ’23 participated in one of Mount Carmel’s great traditions, the Freshman Overnight. Students enjoyed some great food prepared by the Father’s Club; listened attentively as faculty speakers including John O’Connor, Bill Nolan, and Dan Haggerty spoke about our school’s traditions and expectations; and burned off energy with basketball, floor hockey, and swimming. The evening concluded in prayer as they celebrated Mass with Fr. Jim Lewis and received their scapulars in a memorable midnight ceremony in the Prayer Garden.
