Hallaren joins the advancement team
October 16, 2015
This year, 18 faculty members are new to Mount Carmel. While many of these new people are teachers, some work “behind the scenes” to make the school community better as a whole. Among these people is Ms. Megan Hallaren, who is the newest member of the school’s advancement office.
Hallaren grew up on the South Side of Chicago. She attended Mother McCauley High School, where she was a two sport athlete, participating in the golf and volleyball programs. She also enjoys running. After high school, she joined the Fighting Illini at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she majored in business. Prior to arriving at MC, she worked for Pure Barre Fitness Centers in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Now, as a part of the Caravan, Hallaren has many goals she wants to accomplish as the school’s Advancement Coordinator this year. Her role will require her to organize various events for students, parents, and friends of Mount Carmel. Hallaren job also includes “keeping also our database of contacts updated,” as a way to grow and expand our Caravan following.
