Another masterpiece for “007” franchise
If you are looking to see a movie that mixes action, thrills, and romance, then “Spectre” is right for you. This film is the fourth installment of the Daniel Craig series of James Bond films, and his performance as the world’s most famous spy does not disappoint.
In “Spectre,” Agent 007 travels to Mexico City to track down a potential terrorist. He finds the terrorist, and also learns of a secret organization called Spectre that plans to eliminate Bond and terrorize humanity. Eager to know more about the peculiar group, he leans on the help of an old nemesis’s daughter, and together they embark on a mission to hunt down Spectre. Along the way, the duo learn of a secret connection between Bond and the leader of Spectre, which motivates Bond to take down the organization even more.
The film is action-packed, with scenes like a plane riding down a mountain and a hand-to-hand combat brawl on a train. The acting is excellent, with almost every main actor showing an emotional side. The scenes were shot all across the world, so it was interesting to see 007 jump from place to place. The movie will have audiences on the edge of their seats, dying to know what the mysterious, heroic James Bond will do next.
Since the 24th Bond flick hit theaters, the movie has been a worldwide phenomenon, grossing over $680 million at the box office since its October 23rd release (in the UK). The reviews have come back quite positive, with IMDb awarding a 7.1/10 for the film.
This was director Sam Mendes’ second James Bond movie, and he certainly met the expectations that were set from “Skyfall” (2012), the previous film that many thought to be the biggest 007 movie ever. The cast is fairly new, including Léa Seydoux, Christopher Waltz, Dave Bautista, and Monica Bellucci. Returning members from previous Bond films are Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, and Ralph Fiennes.
