Principal Scott Tabernacki, in a May 26 email to parents, announced that it is Mount Carmel’s intention to return to in-person learning for the 2021/2022 school year.

With that goal in mind, and following the CDC guidelines, he  recommends that all students get vaccinated prior to beginning of next school year.

Tabernacki added that “We recognize that getting vaccinated is a choice; however, if a student is not vaccinated upon his return to school (next fall), we recommend that he wear a mask.  We want to ensure that we as a community protect all of our students, family members, faculty and staff.”

In the same email, Tabernacki reminded parents of the opportunity for MC students and families to receive the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine on campus tomorrow, Thursday, May 27.  Appointments are necessary.
