Ms. Ellie Menke is a new addition to Mount Carmel as the Graphic Design and Media Specialist in the Marketing Department. She comes to Mount Carmel recognizing that in her position, there is a great opportunity to use her skills to showcase everything that is happening at Mount Carmel. In fact, after just a few weeks, she insists that this is the best job she could have. “Nothing in my life felt as perfect as Mount Carmel.”

Menke grew up in Evergreen Park. She attended Most Holy Redeemer Elementary School and Mother McAuley High School. Following high school, she studied graphic design and photography at St. Xavier University, earning both her undergrad and graduate degrees.

Outside of work, Menke is an avid sports fan. Her favorite sport teams include the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Blackhawks. Menke also has a passion for caring about the earth; she is commited to reusable coffee cups and water bottles.

Menke feels ” driven every day ” to wake up for work in order to accomplish a task, recognizing that her work is appreciated.

Her recent projects include developing content for the new displays on the first floor, creating team posters for MC soccer, hockey, golf, and cross country, and helping plan the deciation program for Barda -Dowling Stadium.
