Food and culture on the menu for Diversity Dinner

Mount Carmel is hosting the Diversity Dinner on Tuesday, February 14 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Student Commons.

The annual dinner is a cross-cultural event that brings together students, parents, faculty and staff good food, conversation,  and a unique opportunity to learn more about each other’s background.

The event is a pot-luck style dinner with different types of foods from many cultures. According to Mrs. Shanta’ Wheeler, moderator of the Multi-Cultural Club which organizes the event, the goal of the evening is to learn something new about different cultures and individual experiences, and to try some new foods.
