On Friday night, the Mount Carmel Caravan (4-2, 1-2 CCL Blue) take on the De La Salle Meteors (4-2, 2-1 CCL Green) at 7:30 p.m. at  St. Rita High School. After a disheartening loss to St. Rita, the Caravan bounced back with a big CCL Blue victory over Brother Rice. With a victory over De La Salle this week, the Caravan (4-2, 1-2 CCL Blue) would secure a seed in the state playoff, something they failed to do last season for the first time in 30 years. De La Salle (4-2, 1-2 CCL Green) would also secure a playoff seed with a win. But the last time De La Salle defeated Mount Carmel was the 1997 season, and the Caravan don’t plan on letting the Meteors get in their way of the playoffs.
