On October 13, Mount Carmel beat Montini at Gatley Stadium by the score of 35-18 . Mount Carmel had a combined total yards of 430 yards  with 70 yards passing and 360 yards rushing. Some key players were Aristotle Nakos with 15 carriers for 167 yards  and 2 touchdowns and Alex Thomas with 4 carries, 2 receptions, and pass for a combined 132 yards. He had one passing and one rushing touchdown, and on defense he also had a tackle and fumble return. This was Alex Thomas’ first game not playing QB.
