Bears’ rookie Eddie Jackson scores 2 defensive TDs in win over Panthers

On Sunday, November 22, the Chicago Bears hosted the Carolina Panthers.

Bears’ rookie safety Eddie Jackson became the first NFL player in history to score multiple defensive touchdowns of 75 yards or more in one game. Jackson’s superb efforts would lead the Bears to a 17-3 victory over the Panthers to up their record to 3-4. Alongside Jackson’s big plays, the Bears defense sacked Carolina QB Cam Newton five times and intercepted two of his passes.

Rookie QB Mitch Trubisky completed a quiet 4 of 7 passes, recording 107 yards in the Bears’ second consecutive win.
