Is it really a surprise that the MC football team is doing so well?

After the first seven games of the Mount Carmel Caravan`s football season, the team found themselves responsible for a 4 and 3 record. This is not the start that the Mount Carmel Caravan were hoping for. After their loss on October 6th against De La Salle Institute, many students, alumni, faculty and members of the Mount Carmel community began to doubt the Caravan.

But not long after, the Caravan turned their season around. They played a 5 and 2 Montini Broncos team. The Caravan handed a big loss to the Broncos, winning easily 35-18. The following week the Caravan played a 4 and 3 Providence Celtic team. After being down two touchdowns at the half, the Caravan rallied back to beat the Celtics by 1 point. Not long after the win Pat Disabato, a SouthTown Sports Writer, published an article titled,”Mount Carmel rallies from 27-14 deficit to stun Providence.” But it should be no surprise that the Caravan won this game.

The Caravan currently have 2 division 1 football commits and have many more to come. They are big upfront, fast in the backfield, and have big linebackers. It is safe to say that the Caravan are rolling into the playoffs hot.
