Christos Dimas ’25, Staff Writer
Christos Dimas is a senior at Mount Carmel High School. He resides in the South Side of Chicago in the Beverly neighborhood and attended Sutherland Elementary School. His brother Nick Dimas ’17 and father Andy Dimas ’88 also attended Mount Carmel.
Christos is currently a member of varsity basketball, varsity cross country, student council, The Merchant, BIZ club, and the Caravan Media Group as the color commentator for the home varsity football games. Academically, he ranks in the top 10 of the class of 2025.
In Dimas’ free time, he loves spending time with friends and family, watching movies, and listening to music. His favorite movie is The Dark Knight, and his favorite band is Pearl Jam.
After high school, Dimas wants to go on to college and pursue a career either in business or education. His interest in these fields comes from his family’s professional experiences and his dedication to school throughout his life.
