Claire Mattison, a marketing specialist for Mount Carmel, builds the marketing team by getting the word out to people about what Mount Carmel has to offer. Mattison has only been on the job for three days, and said that she already likes what she is seeing from our school, from the way the students carry themselves, to the way the faculty care about the comfort of the students culturally.

Mattison graduated from DePaul University, and said, “The school is great, I highly recommend it.” Prior to being a marketing specialist, Mattison worked at Target for three years and then one year being an IT consultant. Mattison said, “That the transition from Target and consulting helped me strategically, and I think that that is a very important skill to have.” Growing up in Cedar Rapids, Mattison played football in 8th grade for the Franklin Lightning Bolts and then went on to become a state champ in water polo at Cedar Rapids High School.

Mattison is a great addition to the MC community, and we hope she continues to ignite a spark in the eyes of potential students.
