Positive energy impresses Mr. Dominic Scheuring
This year Mr. Dominic Scheuring has joined the school’s theology department teaching juniors, sophomores and freshmen. Scheuring came earlier in the year to see the school. He noted a lot of positive energy from the students and almost not enough room to breathe because of how fast everyone was moving.
Scheuring feels that it is important to teach theology, and that he has a passion for it. He makes sure that students understand they are bigger than what they really think they are.
Another thing that really stood out to him was that the teachers he saw were very dedicated to the students. He mentioned the teachers were very active and enjoyed teaching.
He is already a moderator for Model of United Nations and is also involved in the CBN [Caravan Broadcasting Network]. He would like to be one of the “assistant of the assistant coach for the basketball team or a film guy to showcase the Mount Carmel basketball team.”
He attended the University of San Francisco for undergrad and Boston College for his master’s in philosophy and theology.
