Lots going on at MC over the weekend:

MC students donated more than 3,000 cans to the annual food drive in support of the Maple-Morgan Park Food Pantry.  Studium 004 delivered the food last Friday.

On Saturday, 212 current 8th graders took the placement test for the Class of 2023.  While they were busy plotting their future, current students who are members of “Team 6410,” the Caravan Robotics team, won the Robot Skills Champion of the Von Steuben / IIT VEX Robotics Competition.  Later Saturday, hundreds of Mount Carmel guys hosted their moms at the annual Mother/Son Dance in the Commons.

This week, Advent Action continues with the Christmas toy drive in support of the Kevin Dowling Foundation and S. Irenaeus Food Pantry.  The deadline for donations is December 14.
