MC students were active and successful in a variety of sports and activities over the weekend.

The Chess team finished second in the Catholic League tournament; the varsity basketball team defeated St. Ignatius on Friday; the bowling team finished third in the IHSA regionals and qualified for next Saturday’s sectionals; the wrestling team went 3-0 in a quad, defeating St. Pat’s, Jacobs and Wheeling; and varsity hockey went 1-1, defeating Marist and falling to St. Viator.
