Congratulations to the following MC students whose art has been selected for display at the 2019 My Chicago Art Contest:  seniors Jack Slade, Ryan Rinearson, Abdel Raoul, Michael McKenna, Nico Padilla, Dan Benoit, Luke Pappas, Tony Ruiz and Ameen Morgan; as well as  juniors Charlie Chappetto and Morgan Sanders.

Their work will be displayed at McCormick Place between April 23 and 25 in front of more than 9,000 attendees during the National Catholic Education Association Convention and Expo.

Another student worthy of congratulations today is senior Tarris Ray, who recently was accepted into the American Music and Dance Academy in Los Angeles.  Tarris’ talent has been displayed frequently during his years at MC, as a choir member and cantor for liturgies, leading the National Anthem before athletic events, as a featured performer at concerts, or as one of the leads in the recent spring musical, Newsies.
