Returning to school after the Labor Day weekend, the Caravan was still buzzing with the excitement of Friday evening’s opening games at Barda-Dowling Stadium.  The freshman team defeated South Elgin by a score of 26 – 0, while the varsity kicked off its season with a dominant 42-0 victory over the Calumet Warriors.  Both of Friday’s games were well attended, and the event allowed the Mothers and Fathers Clubs to test out the new procedures for parking and concessions in advance of the dedication ceremony that will take place on September 13.
