Congratulations to the Classics Club for taking second place in last night’s Certamen competition at Walter Payton College Prep.

Advent Action is underway:  the focus this week has been on collecting canned food.  The Studium that has brought in the most cans by today will have the privilege of delivering the food to the Maple-Morgan Park Food Pantry on Friday.

Advent Action continues next week with the focus on collecting toys that will be donated to the Kevin Dowling Foundation.

This upcoming weekend is packed with MC events:

• the annual placement test for current 8th grade students will be offered on Saturday from 8:00 to 11:30 a.m.
• the wrestling program will be hosting a quad meet from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Participants include
  Wheaton North, Marist High School, Marmion Academy, Montini, and Providence.
• finally, the Mother-Son Dance will be held in the Student Commons from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
