As Christmas break draws near, it’s been a busy time at MC.  Adding to the festive nature of the day, the Mother’s Club is holding a bake sale at all lunches.

Last night’s “Christmas With The Caravan” concert was standing room only, with parents, family members and friends enjoying performances from the Concert Choir, MC9, and Concert Band..  Highlights of the evening included Chris Auguste’s solo performance of “White Christmas,”  Nolan Fletes’ violin rendition of “O Holy Night,” and the Concert Band’s stirring finale:  “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24.  A reception followed the concert.

The music program extends its celebration of Christmas today and tomorrow with field trips to perform at Mercy Circle on Wednesday and Good Shepherd Manor on Thursday.

Congratulations to senior Jalen Grant who signed a football letter of intent for Bowling Green State University this orning.  Jalen has participated in both football and wrestling at MC.

During this morning’s late start meeting of the STEM Cohort, MC alum Dan Mehay returned to his alma mater to work with current students on writing code to control drones.

Finally, the ROOTS Club will meet after school today.
