The chess team’s final regular season match takes place this afternoon  vs. Marist at home.  Then the team immediately moves into playoff mode:  the conference meet is scheduled for January 18 at St. Ignatius, with IHSA sectionals to follow on February 1, and state on February 14-15.

The Chicago Fire television program will film additional scenes today at Mount Carmel (otherwise known as “Stover Academy”).  Students and faculty can expect to see the cast and crew working in the Graham Center throughout the day.

The final group of seniors departs for their Kairos Retreat at the Carmelite Spiritual Center in Darien after school today.
