Congratulations to the varsity hockey team:  by virtue of a game-tying goal by Ethan Kortz with 5 seconds remaining in Sunday’s game against Marmion, the Caravan clinched a spot in the Kennedy Cup Playoffs.

The varsity basketball team also had a successful weekend, defeating Providence St. Mel on Friday night by a score of 62-31.

To top off a busy weekend, Dr. Mike Rodgers and the Science/Technology Department hosted the Second Annual Vex Robotics Tournament, with 38 teams participating.  Mount Carmel entered two teams, finishing 12th and 22nd.

As the winter sports season draws to a close, spring sports are getting geared up.  There will be a final pre-season meeting for anyone interested in lacrosse today at 2:50 in Room  117.
