It was a busy and successful weekend for the Caravan.

Leading the list of accomplishments,  Sergio Lemley and Noah Mis both joined Mount Carmel’s Wrestling Ring of Honor as they earned individual state championships.  In addition,  Connor Gaynor (2nd place), Colton Drousias (3rd place), Jalen Grant (4th place), and Ashton Breen (5th place) distinguished themselves at the IHSA state finals.

The Caravan Robotics team 6410M also had a great weekend, winning the Opt4stem VEX Tournament at IIT yesterday and thereby qualifying for the VEX State Championship March 14-15 at Illinois State University.
The Caravan Math Team competed at the ICTM Regional on Saturday, with several noteworthy performances.
Kolton Hall took 1st Place in Algebra II as an individual, while the Frosh-Soph 2-man team of Tim Sullivan and Jacob White and the Junior-Senior 2 man team of Kolton Hall and Jon Weber both took 2nd.
The Junior/Senior 8 man team (Luka DiFillipo, Kolton Hall, Maximillian Milavickas, William Quinn, Blake Lopez, Cesar Sanchez, Brian Sullivan, and Jon Weber) and the junior team (Luka DiFillipo, Kolton Hall, Maximillian Milavickas, William Quinn) both took 1st in their respective competitions!
Last but not least, in a weekend swim meet, senior Pete Vandeveld placed 5th in the 100 fly with a personal best time of 55:39.
