The Mount Carmel community traditionally gathers for an all-school liturgy during October, either on or near the feast day of St. Therese of Lisieux or St. Teresa of Avila.

This year, due to the COVID-19 restrictions on large gatherings, each class level will celebrate Mass individually at various times throughout the school day.  Fr. Jim Lewis and Fr. Leopold Glueckert will preside.

Congratulations to the chess team, which won its match against Latin High School on Tuesday.  Senior Will Quinn led the way with his victory on Board 1.

Six members of the varsity golf team will represent Mount Carmel in the IHSA Sectional today.  Good luck to Tim Christie, George Keeley, Michael O’Keefe, Ahmad Raoul, Jack Urbon and Chris Whelton, along with Head Coach Anthony Massino.
