Today marks the beginning of Trimester 2.  This will allow teachers to communicate expectations for the new term before Thanksgiving break, and the week of remote learning for all that will follow the break.

Principal Scott Tabernacki announced a schedule change this morning:  Friday will be a half-day of in-school classes, with faculty using the afternoon for a brief retreat experience.

Congratulations to the Mount Carmel Chess Team, which tied for 2nd place in the Chicago Prep Bowl.

Whitney Young won the ten-team tournament, while MC finished tied with Benet Academy, and ahead of three other Catholic League rivals:  Br. Rice, De La Salle, and St. Ignatius.

Mr. Kevin Quirk is the coach and moderator of the team.
