This week, Mount Carmel joins other Catholic schools across the country in celebrating the hard work of students, the support of families, and the dedication of teachers during Catholic Schools Week.

We also begin our annual observation of Black History month.  Today’s morning announcements recalled the work of Carter G. Woodson in establishing “Black History Week” as a way to honor President Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.
