Congratulations to the Mount Carmel Chess Team, which finished in the top 50% of the 118 teams that competed in the state tournament.  Senior Will Quinn led the way with a 5-0-2 record, while junior Ryan Tran (5-2) and sophomore Isaiah Jara (4-3) also posted winning records as individuals.

Adding to the suddenly crowded schedule of athletics, the water polo team will hold a pre-season meeting on Tuesday immediately after school.
