It’s a day for acknowledging recent student success:

First, belated congratulations to the five members of the Math Team who participated in the Archdiocesan Mathematics Competition (held virtually) last week.  As a team, MC took 4th place (in a field of nine).  Members who competed included seniors Kolton Hall, Max Milavickas and Will Quinn, along with juniors Ryan Boersma and Patrick Sullivan.  Individually, Hall placed highest at 7th, while Milavickas placed 15th and Patrick Sullivan 17th out of 51 competitors.  Mr. David Milavickas is the coach and moderator of the team.

Congratulations also go to senior Freddie Gist of our mccaravan.org staff who was awarded a “Best of SNO” certificate for his recent story “E-learning challenges students to show integrity.”  This marks the second “Best of SNO” for Gist, who previously was recognized for the story “Gun violence in 2020:  a Chicagoland teen’s perspective.”
