During Period 7 and 8 today, nineteen Mount Carmel students and several faculty will “brave the shave” in the annual St. Baldrick’s fundraiser.  Every two minutes, a child is diagnosed with cancer worldwide, and these students and their sponsors are raising funds to find cures that will help to change this reality.

The “early spring” sports season got off to a good start on Tuesday with the varsity and sophomore soccer teams shutting out DePaul Prep.  Sophomores won 5-0,  while the varsity triumphed 4-0.
