The Walkathon has gotten off to a good start, as the student body achieved its first collective incentive.  By reaching 30% of the overall fundraising goal by last Friday, students earned an additional day for Easter break.  As a result, there will be no school on Thursday, April 1.

Mr. Anthony Massino’s Period 1 class currently is leading the way, having already raised 108% of their team quota.

Mr. John Stimler, Walkathon coordinator, conducted prize drawings this morning to award prizes for those students who have achieved individual incentives.  The first drawing was for those who had raised $200 or more to date, and the winners of $50 gift cards were Ryan Sullivan and TJ Gadzik.

A second drawing was held for students who had raised $100 or more to date.  Dominic Gadalinski, Kenneth Johnson, Aiden Boukal and Jimmy McCool each won the choice of a $25 gift card or $25 lunch card.

Juniors will take the ACT exam tomorrow, Tuesday, March 30, beginning at 7:30 a.m.  Freshman, sophomores and seniors have a free day tomorrow.
