A panel of Mount Carmel alums who are Vietnam Veterans will speak to students in Mr. Bryce Nevrly’s English 3 classes during Period 7 today.  The visit will provide context for the classes’ study of the novel The Things They Carried, by Tim O’Brien.

As the school year winds down, there are multiple after school activities that continue to engage many students.  Today’s activities include:

• The Law & Justice Club will meet after school in Rm 311.
• Varsity baseball will play Loyola on Haggerty Field at 4:30, while JV plays at Loyola
• JV volleyball plays St. Laurence at home at 5:00 p.m. while the varsity plays at St. Laurence
• JV lacrosse plays Fenwick in Barda-Dowling Stadium at 5:00 p.m., with the varsity game to follow at 7:00 p.m.
