Lessons to remember as the end is here

Coming to Mount Carmel has taught me a lot about life and how to be a man. I have learned so many things here and have had so many great memories that I will remember for the rest of my life.

I really wish junior and senior years could’ve been better. The beginning of Junior year was amazing, but then the pandemic hit in March and we moved to remote learning. I also have been remote my entire senior year, which means I did not get the full high school experience I had originally imagined.

Freshman year was the best year I had at Mount Carmel because of the amount of events we enjoyed such as freshman overnight and reflection.

Coming to this school has taught me to be on time, to be friendly and kind, to be responsible and be most importantly to be helpful. I learned to never judge someone based on their appearance and to never judge a book by its cover. I will always remember Mr. Nolan’s famous quote “Safety is No Accident!” This came to mind many times when I was faced with danger.

I really enjoyed all the Impact Week service experiences, meeting new people and overall the life and atmosphere at Mount Carmel. There are a lot of things that I learned that I will carry on for the remainder of my life.

It has been a great honor coming to this school.
