On Thursday, May 8, the top ten students in Mount Carmel’s senior class gathered with parents, family, and staff in the Kiszka Suite to formally announced their college commitments. This event was live streamed on the Mount Carmel facebook page and is available to view on the website.

The top 10 seniors and their college commitments are:

1. Brett Wiseman- Notre Dame
2. Kevan Flemming- University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign
3. Kieran Conjar- Washington University- St. Louis
4. Owen Madrigal- Butler University
5. Anthony Zralka- University of Wisconsin- Platteville
6. Timothy Sullivan- Purdue University
7. Jason Wendling- University of Nebraska
8. John Curtin- University of Alabama
9. Alex Tracy- junior hockey (accepted to University of Minnesota)
10. Nico Padilla- Purdue University

The event was organized by MC Director of Marketing and Strategic Planning, Mr. Tony Difilippo, who wanted “to shine a spotlight” on the school’s top academic students, just as the school regularly honors student-athletes who have signed commitments to pursue college athletics.
